🌟 Event Highlights

We welcomed the Lunar New Year with vibrant energy, festive traditions, and a strong sense of community at the Taiwan Center in Flushing.

Held on February 17, 2026 (Lunar New Year’s Day), the celebration brought together nearly 250 community members, families, and local leaders to ring in the Year of the Horse.

From the powerful rhythm of drums and the excitement of the lion dance to hands-on cultural activities and delicious Taiwanese New Year treats, the Taiwan Center was filled with joy, laughter, and celebration from start to finish.

2026 年 2 月 17 日（農曆大年初一），紐約臺灣會館於法拉盛舉辦「馬到成功・迎新春」新春慶祝活動，在熱鬧的鑼鼓聲與舞獅表演中，迎接嶄新的馬年。

本次活動吸引近 250 位社區民眾、僑界代表及民選官員共襄盛舉，現場洋溢著濃厚的節慶氣氛與歡樂笑聲。

🥢 Culture, Community & Celebration

Guests enjoyed a wide range of interactive experiences, including:

• 🖌️ Writing traditional spring couplets
• 🏮 Craft-making and lantern activities
• 🎉 Taiwanese cultural trivia
• 🎭 Puppet theater experiences
• 🥟 Taiwanese New Year dishes and festive snacks

These activities allowed participants of all ages to experience the richness of Taiwanese culture in an engaging and welcoming environment.

活動現場規劃多項文化體驗，讓不同年齡層的民眾都能親身參與台灣年節文化，包括：

• 🏮 馬年主題剪紙與花燈手作
• 🎉 台灣文化有獎徵答
• 🎭 布袋戲體驗
• 🥟 台灣年節美食與點心

透過多元互動設計，讓來賓在走春的同時，感受濃厚的台灣年味與人情溫度。

🎤 Community Voices & Recognition

Distinguished guests, including representatives from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in New York and local elected officials, joined the celebration and shared their New Year wishes.

Remarks highlighted the importance of celebrating Lunar New Year abroad and recognized the Taiwan Center’s role in promoting Taiwanese culture and strengthening community connections.

We were also honored to receive:
🏆 2025 TCML Excellence Award (Top Tier)
🏅 New York State Legislative Resolution

These recognitions affirm our continued efforts in cultural programming and Mandarin education.

多位貴賓蒞臨活動現場，包括駐紐約臺北經濟文化辦事處代表及多位民選官員，共同向社區民眾致上新春祝福。

李志強大使於致詞中表示，能在海外與僑胞及社區朋友共度農曆新年格外溫馨，並肯定紐約臺灣會館長期在文化推廣與社區凝聚上的努力。

本會亦於活動中榮獲：
