The course introduces students to traditional Chinese and builds listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Meanwhile, it gives students the opportunity to explore Taiwanese culture and its history.
Also, the Taiwan Center organizes cultural activities from time to time, in which students can immerse themselves in the authentic culture of Taiwan and increase their interest in Mandarin study.

The course is designed for students with intermediate proficiency in Mandarin. It provides an overview of a variety of business topics within the Mandarin Chinese context, including preparing for business trips, meeting and conversing with colleagues, making business phone calls, and conducting business negotiations.
